Basketball...my first love. I was always an active child and so my mom always tried to find something for me to do. At the YMCA, age 3, I was able to sign up to play basketball with a mini ball and toy hoop. From that day forward, I have been hooked.
Since I can remember, I have always envisioned myself playing basketball at the highest level possible. With that in mind, I have always committed to work diligently to increase my knowledge of the game as well as my ability. I am the first person at practice, and the last one to leave. I practice outside of my teams, by playing pick up ball or seeking training from elite trainers. My work ethic is unmatched. I am coachable and hungry for growth both on and off the court.
I have an amazing amount of energy that I bring to the team. I like to spread positivity and encourage my teammates to do their best. On the academic side, I hope to pursue a career in sports--specifically advocating for women in sports. I have already conducted research and wish to learn more about becoming a voice for the equality of women in sports.
