My name is Taylor Allen and it is my dream to play basketball at the next level. I've been playing ball since I was seven years old and it has always been my passion. As a military child, I've had to move to a different school pretty much all of my life. I've lived in many different countries and have made a lot of different friends, but the one thing that has always been a constant in my life is basketball. I think that my ability to adapt to change is what makes me the best player I can be. I am coachable and I constantly am looking for ways to get better and improve my game. I am a sponge that absorbs everything that I am taught on and off the court.
My basketball journey hasn't always been easy. In the spirit of being transparent, playing basketball and always being "the new girl" hasn't always been the best position to come into. However, I've learned that if I work hard then coaches will see that I am dedicated and that I am determined to add value and make an impact. These are the qualities that I think will be a great addition to a college program playing at the next level. I've always been the underdog that has had to prove myself and I am not approaching this process any differently. All I need is a chance and an opportunity and I know I will succeed. Thank you for your consideration!
