Being in the State Tournament both my freshman and sophomore year definitely helped me grow as an athlete and a person in general. These two experiences both helped me realize that nothing is ever given to you, and you have to work hard for everything that you want to achieve. However I believe that my Junior season is going to help me grow more individually as a person, and work on becoming a better point guard for my team as we do not have most of the returning players who helped lead us to the state tournament two years in a row.
I was, and still am grateful to be able to contribute in this amazing program with winning 5th and 6th in State my first two years of high school. I am still continuing to learn the value of true teamwork, leadership, commitment, responsibility, and sacrifice. I am looking for a school that will be a good fit for not only me as an athlete, but also me as a student. I believe that other than the ability to play in college, I have the work ethic, coachable attitude, outgoing personality, and leadership skills to make an impact in not only a team, but also the school. As a three sport athlete, I know that I have the commitment, and responsibility that it takes to be a player on your team!
