Emma Vredenburg '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emma Vredenburg. I am a senior and will be graduating with the class of 2020. I attend Roseburg High School in Roseburg Oregon. I am a 5'3" starting varsity player as a point guard/shooting guard. My first experience playing basketball was when I was a little 4th grade girl. At first, I wasn't too sure about it, but the more I played, the more I fell in love with the game, and the more hungry I got to learn more and more. I still get that same feeling every time I pick up the ball. A few things that I will bring to your team is my aggressive defense, my speed, my strength, my successful outside shooting, and leadership. I have been a team captain for every sport I have played in since middle school. I am a very confident player, and I believe that the moment one of my teammates puts their head down, I can bring them back up. Not only am I a hard and focused worker in basketball, but in school as well. I currently have a 3.7 GPA. I am enrolled in not only honors classes, but in AP/CC classes as well. What can I say except I like a challenge! This upcoming season I hope to grow as a player and a teammate. Basketball is something that I can see myself continuing on for a long time and I will do anything to achieve that goal.
