Freshman Year Personal Statement
As a multi-sport athlete, I have learned a lot about myself. Being motivated, versatile, and resilient are essential qualities that one must possess. To me, this means being able to manage in-season practices and games, as well as out-of-season workouts, all while juggling track meets and practices with my AAU schedule. I take pride in being present at every event, even when it coincides with another sport because I place great value on my dedication to both sports and academics. Over the years, I have developed these qualities in myself because my ultimate goal is to play basketball at the collegiate level and pursue a degree in Psychology.
