My name is Mia Weigner. I am a junior in high school. I want to study prehealth in college to go into veterinary medicine, but I would also love to play sports. My main sport is basketball which I have been playing since I was 8 years old. Last year my school team did not do very well and we only had enough to field a team and 1 bench player. We do not have alot to show for it as we only made it to quarterfinals. This season will be completely different. I may be smaller for a power forward but I am a great defensive player and a down low specialist. I take alot of charges and I really know how to use my body without getting in foul trouble. My goal for this upcoming year is to play for a local AAU Team and have a great school season. I also love volleyball which I have been playing since I was 12. I am a defensive specialist and also a left side hitter. I am very quick on my feet and know how to get balls down. I would love to play sports in college. I have great time management skills as right now I am a full time Honors student, I play 3 sports year round, and I also manage a job. I have great leadership qualities, physically tough, I take criticism well, and I am coachable I never go into anything thinking my team will lose.
