I,a student athlete, must first and always put academics first and sports second. Academics determine whether or not you can play a sport anyway, which is why I keep my grades on top. I am am striving to be one of the best, not for attention but for the love of the sport. I have huge goals and I will find a way to accomplish them all. I mean, who wants to be jobless after high school? NOT ME!
My plans after high school, is to go to college, major in being a Veterinarian , play basketball and open my own hair salon. The major goal is to get my college degree and go from there on, wherever life takes me. But one of my plans for my senior year of basketball, is to dunk! Yes I said it =) Playing basketball has opened my eyes to so many different things in life. It has gave me strength, both emotionally and physically. It has gave me a heart of pure determination. Basketball is my stress reliever, which is how I have come to love the sport. My ball handling is good, it could be better. I am a 3 pointer. Most of my points come from behind that line. My defense is great. I may be small but its not the size of the dog in the fight, but the fight in the dog. I can get up and down the court pretty fast and I am good at blocking. I have a great attitude on and off court. I play as a team player, never alone. We are a family in my eyes.
