I would love to continue to play basketball in college, I love the sport. I have the drive and desire to play college ball. I am also confident I can keep good grades while doing so. I have been playing basketball ever since I was little and have completely fallen in love with the game. I am a lot like every other high school student in some ways. I am a gym rat, I spend almost ever bit of my free time at the gym or in the weight room. However, I think I really stand out from other recruits because of how multi-dimensional I am. I love the game of basketball, but I plainly just love sports themselves. Besides basketball, I also participate in volleyball, track & field (sprinting, jumping, and throwing), along with slow pitch softball in the summers. I succeed in every sports and it has been a hard decision to figure out which I would like to continue in my college years, but my choice has definitely become clear, basketball.
Academically, I am very, very serious about my grades. I work hard in every class and participate in Honors classes to keep up an outstanding GPA. I do want to play college basketball just for the pure love of the game, but also so I can go to a good college where I can further my education.
When I am not playing basketball I enjoy time with family and friends. I participate in many other activities and clubs as well. I am in a church youth group, church bell choir, church choir, band, jazz band, flag corps, FBLA, 4-H, Redfield Pheasant Club, and other here and there activities.
I have been looking forward to college basketball since I was very young. I hope I can make a good candidate for your team and a good student for our school.
