Kendell Sawinsky ...Personal Statement
I believe I would be an asset to any team who values a hard work ethic on the court and in academics. As a junior, I have shown my abilities by helping my team win the consolation championship in the SD state tournament. At the state tournament I tied for 2nd in steals and 5th in assists. For the season I had an assist to turnover ratio of 3.65 to 1 from my guard position, and was also named defensive player of the year. I was nominated into the national honor society and have approximately a 3.9 gpa. I welcome challenges in all areas of my life and always bring a team first attitude to anything I am involved in.
