Payton Meers '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a very hard worker with a strong passion for basketball. I have played since 4th grade and have dedicated myself to improving in each aspect of the game, on and off the court. Each day I work to push myself and to become better. Being part of a team is one of the things I love about basketball. Because of this, I strive to be the best teammate I can be. I try to have a “we game over me game” mindset. I am not afraid of critique, in fact, I welcome it from coaches. I am very coachable, and I am very eager to hear feedback from my coaches so I can improve my game.
In academics, I have worked to maintain all A’s throughout school. I am in all advanced classes, so I have learned to manage my time and to stay organized in order to do my very best. In college, I intend to get a degree in political science and in law.
All of these things make me confident that I would be a key contributor to a team. I would bring a strong work ethic and an even stronger passion for the game to any program.
