I am what you call "untapped potential" when it comes to basketball. I started my athletic career in swimming, but in 8th grade decided to focus on basketball. The bigger surprise is that I grew to 6'3' in my bare feet. We then moved to Texas as a freshman, It has been a bit of a rocky start, with an foot injury at end of freshman year season that took some time to heal. That time made me realize how much I really did love basketball.
I am now in season, but focusing on private training specific to the post position and speed and agility. I tend to have the reputation for being a "gentle giant" off the court, but extremely feisty on the court. Defense is my favorite part of the game! I would like to take my height, my competitive nature, and my love of basketball to the next level, which means playing in college!! I love being part of a team, not only for what I can contribute, but I also enjoy when my friends and team mates reach their goals. I am looking for a school that has a program that will not only help reach my dream of owning my own party planning business, but also a basketball program and coach that can help me to be the best player and team mate that I can be.
