Hannah Batten '21 Recruiting Profile

     My name is Hannah Batten. I’m a homeschool student from Milano, Texas. One of my goals in life is to leave an impact on someone that helps them through life. I find that when I’m playing basketball and working out, I inspire others to find something they love. I love playing basketball and the rush I get from putting in an and one, or blocking a shot; but my favorite part about the sport is the aspect of teamwork. 

     My love for basketball started in 6th grade. I was a starter on the A team in a group of 7th and 8th graders, and then a starter on Varsity as a Freshman and a Sophomore. From the first time I touched a basketball I knew that I was going to fall in love, in fact you could call it love at first sight. It allows me to express myself and helps me regain focus and attention to detail.  

     I am very eager to see where God leads my basketball career and how long the journey lasts. Wherever I go and whatever I do after high school, I know that basketball will be in my blood forever.
