Anastazja Wierzowiecki '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Anna Wierzowiecki.  I attend Central Highschool in San Angelo, Texas.  My primary college interests are in the arts, specifically design, restoration, and archival studies.  My current GPA is a 3.7 with dual credit courses.  Basketball is my athletic focus.  I have been playing competitive travel basketball since elementary school.  As a Junior, I am a three-year varsity player.  I am known for my intense defense as well as being a multi position player on offense with a high number of rebounds.  I am equally comfortable under the basket or shooting from the perimeter.  Coaches describe me as being intense and very coachable.  I have a 2nd degree black belt in taekwondo, and I enjoy fishing and camping as my other hobbies.  Currently, I am 5' 11" and hoping for another few inches.  Finding a college that aligns with my educational interests and that would allow me to continue with my passion for playing basketball are a priority for my future.
