Leah Platt '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi My name is Leah and I am a Senior at NW Christian High school. I am a dedicated and hardworking basketball player who is passionate about growing and evolving both on and off the court. Over the years, I have developed strong skills in defense, shooting and assists. I am considered a play maker on the court because of my knowledge of the game and ability to read teams quickly and make adjustments. I pride myself on my work ethic, leadership, and commitment to my team. Whether it’s working on my ball handling, improving my shooting accuracy, or enhancing my defensive capabilities, I am always striving to elevate my game and support my teammates.

I have played basketball for the past 12 years  I started with a group of friends in my neighborhood playing for the YMCA  this team then moved on to play AAU. 

What sets me apart is my relentless drive and ability to stay focused under pressure. I believe in the power of teamwork and am always looking for ways to contribute, whether through scoring, assists, or defense. I’m constantly pushing myself to improve, both in practice and during games, because I know that growth is a continuous process.

Beyond basketball, I understand the importance of being a well-rounded individual. I plan to study nursing in college and hope to coach women's basketball some day  I am looking for an opportunity to continue my basketball journey at the collegiate level, where I can further develop my skills, contribute to a team’s success, and continue to grow as a person and player.
