My name is Bella Firnkoess and I'm a hardworking athlete who knows the game of basketball and is truly dedicated to this sport. I have started on the varsity basketball team at my high school since my freshmen year. Some of my most important accomplishments are being first-team all-league my sophomore and junior years, second-team all-league my freshman year, and being selected to play in regional all-star games along with being chosen as a captain my junior year.
Knowing that I'm capable of playing basketball in college makes me more passionate about this sport. What I can offer to a team is the promise to always work hard and never give up. I am the first to go to the court and the last to leave.
When it comes to choosing what school I would like to go to, my options are very open. I am looking at schools in west coast states, but I am very open to going anywhere. I am open-minded about colleges and hope to find a college that fits me best. It doesn't matter about the size or location; if I can receive a good education and play basketball I will be happy. I am undecided on my major but I am considering nursing or education. However, that may change over the course of the rest of my high school career.
My realistic athletic goals are to continue playing the sport I love at a high competitive level. Another goal of mine is to make a contribution on the team and to be an example to those after me.
