I've have worked hard for as long as I can remember to succeed in anything I put my mind to. I am very goal and team orientated and I am a team player. I know there is no I in team, it takes all five girls out there on the court and the ones on the benches support to win a game. I strive to do my very best in my academics and I have achieved the position of being one of the top students in my class, I like to challenge myself to be the very best in my education and in my athletics. I have played varsity sports since I was a freshman, starting most if not all games. As a sophomore I received first team all coalfield conference and honorable mention all-state, and received the miss offense award for our team. Going into this year it was predicted in the papers that I would lead the team in both scoring and rebounding, and I did in fact do so. I averaged 16-20 points a game and average about 16-19 rebounds a game. Again this year I did receive the honor of being first team all county coalfield conference, received the all tournament award, and was an honorable mention all state. Our school athletic banquet is approaching and I do intend on receiving the miss offense and defense award. My stats predict that I will also lead the team in scoring and rebounding again next year. I do play varsity softball and have been honored with being apart of the second team last year. I did play one year of varsity soccer my freshman year and I did start every game. It seems that no matter what I put my mind to, be it academic or athletics, I just want to do the very best that I possibly can. Academically I have been honored to be inducted into not only the National Honor Society, but the National Technical Honor Society as well. I maintain a 4.167 GPA, and that is not including my extra weighted GPA score from my AP English class, it is a split class so I will not receive the extra points in my GPA until the end of the year. Honestly, I just want to be the best I can, in everything I do.
