Kenlee Engelhardt '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kenlee Engelhardt. I am a 12th grade student at Star Valley High School in Wyoming. For as long as I can remember, I have loved the sport of basketball!  I started playing at a very young age, with travel teams, and then participated in our school sports programs.  Basketball is more than just a sport to me, it is an opportunity to grow as a human and be part of something so much greater than just a game!  It is a chance for me to be challenged, to learn and grow, and to gain so many life lessons!  I am not just interested in playing basketball at the collegiate level, I am interested in being part of a team who is willing to work 110% and to be part of a collegiate family. I know that I will be a good candidate for a collegiate team because I work hard even on my "days off," and I am a leader on and off the court.  My strengths as a player are my speed, my tenacity, my ball handling skills and my ability to defy the pressure of a high stress games, and still be effective.  I have explosive speed off the dribble, and my defense has been one of my best qualities.  I work hard to be a good student so that I can continue to be a good athlete.  Some would say that basketball is life, but to me, basketball helps us be more successful in life, but is only one of the things that define who we are.  Other reasons that make me a solid player is that I am very coachable and am not afraid of change. I am one of, if not the most, hard working people on the court. If given the opportunity, I truly believe that I could be a great addition to your school, your program, and your sports family.
