2023 Spotlight #1Personal Statement
As a life-time, competitive athlete, I am looking to continue my athletics and academics in college. I have maintained a grade no lower than a A- in my whole academic career with taking college level classes since my sophmore year of highschool. I have done gymnastics competitively for 13 years, ending my career in 2023 as a Level 9 gymnast through my club. I have ran cross country competively for 5 years, as well as track and field for 3 years all through my high school. Throughout my high school career, I weight lift- holding three different school records for my weight class. Finally, I have also dove competitively through my high school for 3 years and plan to focus in on this sport because I enjoy the competition, strength, and beauty of it. I have only had the facilities thus far in my training to practice on a 1 meter springboard, but I looking forward for the opportunity to learn and advance my diving on 3 meter springboard and platform.
