Julia Pioso '21 Recruiting Profile

My diving career began in fourth grade while also being a competitive gymnast. During my freshman year, while training as a level 10 gymnast, I transitioned to being solely a diver. As an athlete I am hardworking, focused, motivated, and a kind and supportive teammate.

In addition to diving, I always strive for excellence in school and am involved in multiple extracurricular activities. I participate in Class Board, Key Club,  Women in Math Society, and Math Honor Society.  

In 2017 I competed at AAU Summer Nationals, and in 2018 I competed at AAU Red White Blue Nationals, AAU Summer Nationals, and USA Diving Zone A Championships. Some of the dives that I am currently working on include the following: 305c on 3m, 205c on 3m,  5233d on 1m, and 5235d on 3m.

I am interested in continuing to dive throughout college at a school that will challenge me academically and athletically, where I will continue to grow as a diver and person throughout the four years.
