Hi, my name is Tyla Greenwood. I am a competitive golfer. When I am not at the course, I am in the driving range or in our garage either hitting balls or working out. I believe in taking time to meditate because I find it very important to have a calm mind on the course. Everything I do is for a purpose, whether it be driving, chipping or putting a ball, getting physically stronger in the gym or mentally stronger through meditation. My long-term goal is to play for a D1 college on a golf scholarship and my short-term goal is to not miss a shot within 120 yards.
I have loved playing golf as far back as I can remember. My mother tells me I let go of her hand to walk for the first time when I saw all the golf balls in the local driving range in Dumaguete City, Philippines when I was a little over a year old.
