Zaida Wise '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Zaida Wise, and I'm a Junior student-athlete at Sabino High School in Tucson, Arizona. I currently golf for my school as well as in tournament organizations such as SAJGA, JGAA, and AJGA. I am currently ranked 8th in Arizona for my grad year as well as 20th in the southwest region .I have been golfing since the age of four and competing since the age of six. Growing up I played multiple sports such as soccer and running cross country and track but as of the last couple years I have been exclusively golfing. My love of golf stems from my family and the memories of growing up golfing with them. Which is why I have dedicated my life to becoming the best golfer I can be. A point which influenced my golf career the greatest was a compound fracture to my right arm. Which ultimately resulted in creating bad golf habits such as a dip and a strong grip. Which I have worked to fix and continue to work on.Academically I have a 3.8 GPA. I am also a member of the National Honors Society. I wish to major in Forensic Science. So that one day I may be a forensic pathologist for the FBI. In my free time I enjoy spending time in the gym as well as giving back to the younger generation of golfers as a coach at my local country club.
