Bryce Wolfe '12 Recruiting Profile

I love golf and it is a very important part of my life as well as my future. I am 5 foot 11 inches tall and 135 pounds, both huge advantages to my game. Golf is not just a game to me, it's a lifestyle. It has taught me values such as honesty, sportsmanship, commitment and patience as well as how to be a part of a team, and be a team leader. I started playing golf 3 years ago as a freshman in high school. Through hard work and commitment I have seen myself progress from a varsity alternate shooting in the 120's my freshman year to being co captain of the varsity team, shooting in the low 80's and making first team all state division 7A my junior year. My love for the game and desire to play at the next level has led me to work even harder to progress to my fullest potential. I have put the time in, taken lessons, worked out with a personal trainer, and played many tournaments. I know I can be a positive addition to any team whether it's a program with a long history or a team that wishes to build a competitive program. I would love to play my first year but I am willing to be patient because I know I will continue to improve through experience, coaching, and practice. I am willing to do whatever it takes to be part of a dynamic team. Like most prospective collegiate athletes, I aspire to play at the highest level possible but am very realistic and I'm willing to keep all my options open. I'm a southern belle and would love to be in the south and close to the coast. I love the beach and warm weather so that I can play year round but I'm willing to go anywhere to play for a team. I want to play for a coach who takes the game as seriously as I do, who can help me develop my abilities and knows I can only get better through hard work; a coach who is a good teacher and who wants to win. I want to double major in theatre and education, two more of my passions. My leadership qualities and unique personality have helped me progress thus far and will only help me grow more as a player, a leader, and a lover of the game.
