Personal Statement
Ever since I was little my dream was to compete at a collegiate level and earn my 4-year degree. I have always loved golf and the individual competitions, but I'm also a team player. I am very lucky to say i've helped lead a back-to-back league championship team with my amazing teammates that some have become my best friends. I have played almost all sports growing up and have always loved to compete and stay active. Along with golf, I am also on the varsity soccer team at Glendora High School. Being a part of the soccer team has taught me that not only do you have to play for yourself but for your entire team. I will always be there for my teammates to help with anything. I believe a teams chemistry and passion is what makes a team truly successful. I am also a part of ASB/leadership at my school which has taught me leadership skills that have helped me become a better teammate.
I am an extremely hard worker. I believe that there is always room to grow and improvements to be made. What makes me different is how coachable I am. I am always open to changes that will better myself as a player. My hard working attitude is also portrayed in my school work. I challenge myself in the classes I take and I excel in them. Being a two sport athlete has taught me time management and the importance of having a balance in life. As most of my days consist of school and practice, I find time to hang out with friends, spend time with family, and do other extracurriculars, but my education and athletics are my main priorities. I strive for excellence and being the best I can possibly be.
