Personal Statement

From the time my late grandfather put a club in my hand and brought me to the range at age six I knew golf was the sport for me!  The physical and mental toughness it demands to the rewarding sound of your purest shot...I love everything about the game and aspire to continue my journey at the collegiate level.

In addition to golf, I've trained in Taekwondo since the age of four and am one of the estimated 1% across the globe who have earned their 3rd degree (3rd Dan) black belt.  As a martial artist I have learned what it means to be dedicated and as a result I am physically and mentally fit and have an intimate understanding of discipline and hard, all of which I leverage and use to my advantage on the golf course and in improving my game.

In the classroom, I study harder than most always giving my personal best and maintain a high GPA.  Outside of the classroom I also look for ways to lead by example and in early 2020 I started Socks4Seniors (IG & FB @Socks4Seniors).  Being a huge fan of 'silly socks' myself, I raise money to get silly socks to as many seniors living in nursing and assisted living facilities as I can with a goal to put smiles on seniors faces - 'one pair of socks at a time'.  I have personally given away thousands of socks to date and am working to get socks to facilities in all 50 states.

I have played varsity golf since my freshman year and want to attend a college where I can push myself both in the classroom and on the golf course. I am open to all opportunities with my ultimate goal to find the right college fit at the highest level of competition possible. I feel I have a lot to offer and am willing to work hard and would love the opportunity to make your college proud.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
