Genevieve "Skye" Mingming '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Skye Mingming. I am currently 17 years old and a part of the Class of 2019 at Northgate High School in Walnut Creek, California.

I have started on my high school's Women's Varsity Golf Team since my freshman year. I have helped my team go undefeated in our league games, win our league championship and make it to the CIF North Coast Section Championship.  During the past couple of years, I have earned First Team All League, became Captain for my team and was voted League MVP.

I have been involved with golf since I was 6 years old starting with The First Tee program and the LPGA Girls Golf.  I continue to be involved with these organizations to help mentor and be a role model to younger kids.  I play competitively year round on junior golf tournaments.  In 2017, I played in the Pure Insurance Championship at Pebble Beach, partnered with PGA pro player Skip Kendall.

My goals are to play college golf and earn a college degree as a Business major.  I am very dedicated to becoming a collegiate golfer.  I believe I will be a great addition to a team due to my positivity, confidence, and sportsmanship on and off the golf course. I have the potential to be an influential player that will contribute to great achievements.
