Personal Statement

Hello possible future coaches! This is an incredible opportunity to continue my golf career into my future. I love the aspect of team and the bonds created with the coaches and team members, not to mention the unforgettable memories made. I always work hard to have a good attitude and grow as a golfer and student. I am a very dedicated student and realize I am attending college to study and prepare for a future career. Playing golf would just add an amazing experience to my college experience!

I have played golf for 10 years. As a freshman, I was a varsity player. I received a Coaches Award at the end of my freshman season for the 2013 Varsity girls golf team for my positive attitude, dedication to the team, and leadership with the team. I am a diligent worker and I am determined to constantly improve my golf game both on and off the course. I was also received this award for the same qualifications on the Arapahoe Sophomore Volleyball Team. Will be a 4 year Varsity Letter. In 2015 I qualified for the 5A State Golf Tournament in Loveland, Colorado and placed 7th in regionals in 2016 to qualify for the 2016 5A State Golf Tournament held at Commonground Golf Course . I am entering my 4th year as a Varsity player and I am dedicated to my season. My goals are to return as the number one player for Arapahoe High School and return for my 3rd time to the 5A State Golf Tournament, with the specific goal of placing in the top 15.

I am a two sport athlete. I have played club volleyball for 6 years and high school volleyball. Volleyball and golf are two very different sports, both of which require a high level of athletics ability and mental strength. Having the athletic and mental strength provides me with an edge over some of my competitors. I have been an honor student all 3 years of middle school at Littleton Academy and my three years at Arapahoe High School. This year I received my Academic Letter and was also inducted into the Arapahoe High School Nation Honors Society for my service, scholarship, character, and leadership. I currently have a 3.8 GPA and I have been in honors or advanced class my entire high school career, including two AP classes this year.
