Samantha Katsikas...Personal Statement
I am very interested in playing golf in college because I love the game, the competition, and the friendships that are formed as part of a team. I am looking for a team that values each individual and what they can contribute to the team. Academics is extremely important to me and I want to be part of a team that also values academics just as much or more than winning the next tournament. As part of both the Golf and Badminton Teams and National Honor Society I have had the opportunity to volunteer my time to local non-profit fundraising events, meet with incoming students to talk about our school and athletics programs, and volunteer my time to NEDSRA Special Olympics. I have enjoyed all of these experiences and look forward to doing more with my team in college.
