Personal Statement
As I end my junior season and move to my senior season, I strive to improve all aspects of my game, including my mental game. I like to compete against players of the highest level and I like to be challenged as much as possible. I hope to attend a university that will give me a good education and give me a great experience on a competitive team. I love the game because it brings out the best in me, both mentally and physically. I spend hours practicing on the course, range, and quite a bit of time around the putting green using drills that professionals and collegiate players use to improve their game.
This season, I ended with a 40.12 - 9 hole average and a 79.8 - 18 hole average. My team won the Mid-Illini Conference Championship, where I also received medalist honors for 1st place individually. My strengths include my driving distance, my greens in regulation accuracy, and my fairways hit accuracy. I could improve upon my putting and up and down save percentage. I aspire to be on a competitive team that will push me to become a better player every day and I look forward to being successful in the classroom and on the course.
