Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Sarah Handlon and I am a senior at Avon High School. I am not currently not on my school's golf team due to extracurricular conflict, but I have played from 7th to Sophmore year. Even though I have not been on the team I haven't put my clubs down. I average about a 42 on a 9 hole and a 91 on an 18 hole. I have always been passionate about golf, mainly because it brought me and my dad closer. A couple of times a week I go play my local course or go to the driving range. I aspire to be a nurse while playing for a team. I already have received 13 college credits for nursing prerequisites which leaves me time to play more often. Thank you for reviewing my profile.

- ActivitiesI have been in show choir for all 4 years of high school, the last 2 years being an advanced show choir. I have been in advanced chorus since my sophomore year and the last two years have been in mixed advanced. I am the president and founder of Avon High School Teenage Republicans. I am also the secretary of Indiana High School Republicans which is the statewide group. I was in the creative writing club for two years at our school. I am apart of a group called Lifesong which is a Christian group for performing arts students. I participate in Thespian Troupe 8320 and while I have not lettered I was in the production The Drowsy Chaperone. I am apart of Student Governments House of Representatives.
