When I was younger, my family would always go golfing and I would ride along in the cart. Maybe I would hit a couple balls here and there, but I never really thought golf was all that interesting. My freshman year of high school, I decided to give golfing competitively a try. Ever since then, I have been in love with the game. Over the past couple of years, I have spent countless hours taking lessons, at the driving range, and getting in as many holes as I can. Golf is not an easy sport and it takes a lot of practice and discipline to be good, but that is something that is worth it to me and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to be the best golfer I can be. In the short three years of my golf career, I have been realizing more and more what I am capable of. From my freshman year to my sophomore year I improved my average by ten strokes. My sophomore year I finished 1st Team All Conference. My junior year I placed 14th at the State tournament. And because of my passion and dedication, I believe that I can continue to improve and reach higher levels of success for a golf team.
