Tessa Shields '17 Recruiting Profile

I hope to play golf at the collegiate level. It has been a dream of mine ever since I was little. I plan to find a college that is suitable for both my athletic and academic goals. I enjoy the game whether I am playing competitively or just for fun. I feel like I would be a good asset to any team because of my determination and mindset. I was chosen to be a captain on my volleyball team and this shows that I am a great leader and work well with others. I have competed at the state golf tournament my freshmen and sophomore year. I am determined to keep improving and do better in the next two years of my high school career. I hope to continue my love for golf after high school and to keep striving for greatness. Not only is athletics important to me, but the academic standpoint is also very important. I work very hard to keep up my grades. I currently have a 4.0 and I plan to work hard to keep my grades at this level.
