Peyton Flynn '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Peyton Flynn and I am a Class of 2024 Senior. I love golf because it rewards hard work and dedication. I learned early on in my golf journey there are no shortcuts. There is no substitute for persistence, determination, and faith in the process. When I leave school, I go straight to the course or the gym. I love the grind and working toward my goal to play at the collegiate level. My days are spent in the classroom and on the golf course. Golf is my passion, but my schoolwork is my job. My current GPA is 4.48, and I have a 32 on my ACT. When I'm not at "work," I am focused on getting better and stronger. I led my team to the 2023 LHSAA Co-Runner Up State Championship DIV 2, shooting +5 both days (PAR 74 course), and placed 5th individually overall.  My lowest round in a tournament is a 72 (twice). My current tournament average is 77 and my 2023 LHSAA season scoring differential was +1.8. Playing in college would fulfill a dream of mine. I want to find a team where I can help them win and compete at the highest level. As the captain of my high school team, I am constantly staying late or coming early to help the other girls accomplish their goals. Golf is an amazing sport with highs and lows; it can be incredibly rewarding and heartbreaking at the same time. You have to have thick skin in this sport and bounce back when the ball doesn’t fall or go where you planned. That’s me - I never give up on my round or my team.
