Personal Statement

Hi! My name is Madilyn Sheerin. I have been playing golf for about 5 years now and playing competitively for 2 years. I am determined to find a college that supports me athletically and academically. I believe academics are always put before athletics and education has been important to me my whole life. I enjoy learning new things when it comes to education or golf and am constantly looking for ways to improve. I am a sophomore at Goodrich High School and I have played two years of varsity golf. This year, my team made it to states and I was able to make the top 25. I am the 9 & 18 hole Jr. Club Champion at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club. I believe I am a strong teammate and am always there when needed. I love golf and will continue playing my whole life.
