Emerson Garlie '24 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals for my golf career is play at the division one level or a top division two school. I’m a good candidate for a team because I love golf and I help others fall in love with the sport, and I just try my best to make practice more fun and enjoyable. But also at the same time helping everyone stay focused. What makes me different from most is I will always put in the work for golf. Even if that’s on or off the course I’m always doing something to help my game. 

In the classroom my goals for my junior and senior year is to maintain a 3.5 gpa or higher. I’m always looking to achieve in the classroom, and look forward into learning more. The class I look the most forward to attending is history, because I enjoy learning about what is going on around me and how are world shaped into what it is. A class that I do not enjoy as much is math, but i’m always looking for ways to improve in my academics.
