I am currently a junior in high school and I have been raised on a family farm. Living on a family farm has taught me to have faith, to learn dedication and commitment to something, and the meaning of hard work. Over the years, I have pushed myself to meet academic goals, athletic goals, and leadership goals.
Golf has captured my heart and has become my passion sport I want to continue on to the next level. I would like to join a team in Nebraska that I can grow with and achieve our goals together. Currently I go straight to the golf course after school and stay there until I have to be home for supper and do my chores. I love golf because every day is a new day to improve my game and my mental effectiveness.
During this past year, I have been able to achieve qualifying for state golf individually, my one-act team qualified for state where I managed the sound and backstage, my basketball team qualified for state basketball for the second year in a row, I also qualified for state FFA where I will compete in Meat Evaluation and Food Science and Technology. When I'm not involved with school activities, I teach third grade Sunday School at my church, volunteer at the local Humaine Society, and help deliver meals on wheels for our local senior center during the summer.
