Cailyn Rogers '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cailyn Rogers and I am currently a junior at The  Golf Performance Center, a golf academy in Ridgefield, CT. My dream is to play D1 college golf and then ultimately try and play pro golf on either the LPGA or the LET tours. I was born in Lexington Kentucky and live on Gainesway Farm, a thoroughbred horse breeding farm with my parents, Lester and Susan, who work for the farm. They are originally from South Africa and we have traveled there a few times to visit family. I think these trips have instilled a love of travel, meeting new people, and exploring different cultures. These trips have also inspired me to want to make a difference in the world. After seeing so many young people with so little opportunity in life another of my future goals would be to provide aid and opportunities for less fortunate children through a foundation.

 I work very hard academically to maintain a high-grade average and my goal is to maintain an 4.0 grade average through high school .I am interested in studying environmental sciences and business but I am still open to learning about other fields of study.

I have been playing competitive golf since I was 9 years old. Through middle school, I played multiple sports like volleyball and tennis, but I have committed to golf since the beginning of high school. My crowning achievements to date are winning the Notah Begay III regional qualifier in Indiana and winning the Kentucky US Girls Jr qualifier. Playing in those two national championships has really inspired me to try to improve my golf game to a winning level this coming season. I look forward to my college experience and to traveling as a competitive team member.I am an easy going person with a strong work ethic and a great love of golf . I love to compete and I feel I would be able to make a big contribution to my future college family.
