In sixth grade, I viewed myself as a libero winning the varsity volleyball team. However, things change. Dreams change. Three years ago, my sophomore year of high school, I decided that volleyball wasn’t for me. My love for the outdoors and longing to improve on things led me to golf. Since golf is a sport that always gives opportunity for improvement, I began my golfing career that fall. Everytime I pick up a club, my love for this sport increases drastically. I have come a long way since my first time golfing, and I remain eager to improve my skill and attitude. The best golfer keeps their head high and their scores low- one of my favorite mottos. Competing with the boys on my team (being the only girl in the "Boys Varsity Team") pushes me to become my best. Whenever I am not in my study books, I am on the course working for my new dream- the opportunity of having an amazing career with an amazing coach playing an amazing sport.
