Pearl Lundgren Go...Personal Statement
I fell in love with playing sports at a very young age. Even though my early years weren’t spent playing golf, all that I learned through playing competitive soccer and basketball have shaped who I am as a person and who I am as an athlete. I started golfing around the age of ten and immediately felt behind compared to the kids around me who had been golfing since they could walk. Competing today with the girls whose scores I would have doubled years ago and playing as good or better than them now is a testament to my desire to learn and work hard. Ultimately, narrowing down my athletic focus to golf was a tough decision, but I have developed a true passion for the sport and am excited to continue on in my career as a golfer. I look forward to competing on a collegiate level and I am working very hard to be the best golfer I can be.
