'09 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I am a 6 year varsity starter on the girl's golf team, starting in the 7th grade with no tournament experience. I have moved from scoring position 5th to 2nd in the 8th grade and have been in the 1st scoring position since 9th grade. I am a team leader working with the less experienced golfers on our team. I have worked hard to improve my game and taking advantage of all opportunities, practicing weekly and playing in local, state, and national tournaments. I seem to score better playing on a team, than playing as an individual. I look forward to playing college golf. I would like to find a program that I can contribute to as a freshman. The Mental Golf DISC Style test rates me as a Conscientious style golfer.
