I was introduced to the game of golf at the age of 6 through the First Tee of Dallas. Since taking my first swing, I knew that golf was something that I wanted to pursue. Therefore through continued coaching, I develop a deeper appreciation for what this game can offer: character development, mental fortitude, and competition. By competing in local, state, and national competitions over the years, I believe I have the necessary passion and work ethic to play collegiate golf.
I work hard year around on my physical and mental development with my swing coach. I am on the range at least 3 times a week working on my short game, putting, or working on course management. I am a very coachable player, and take direction and feedback well, and apply my coach's input to my all around development. I continue to set goals for myself both in golf and in my academics so I always have something to strive for.
In the classroom, I study intensively to maintain a high GPA by taking Honors Level classes as a member of the National Honor Society.
I earned 2nd place individual Medalist in two of the four fall high school tournaments for 2023 for my first year on the high school Varsity team. I look forward having success in the spring with district, regional, and state tournaments.
