Keely Burks '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Keely Burks and I'm from Texarkana, Arkansas.  I have been in Dallas,Texas for 6 years. I've been playing basketball for over 8 years. Currently I play Varsity for District 6-A Champs Mesquite’s John D. Horn in Mesquite,Texas. I've been with AAU basketball for 4 years. I have traveled to Round Rock, Texas , Austin,Texas, and Kansas. I played under Urban Heroes with Coach Hatcher as my AAU Coach I love to practice especially skills training with my trainer Leon Phillips I am a good candidate for teams because I'm a strong player, I'm 5'8, passionate about my game, also I’m  coach-able. For all my years, I've been a post and also I'm now forming into the small forward position.What makes me different from other players is I am very knowledgeable about all positions to play.  During my junior high years, I have played point guard for 7th grade and 8th grade. What makes me different from other recruits is, I am dedicated and on top on my school work. I am a A+ lstudent in my junior year. I will graduate 2022.
