My name is Katelyn Henslee and I am currently a Junior at Rusk High School in Texas. I am hoping to continue to play golf in college as well as prepare for my future after school. I play golf because I love it and the friendships that I have created. I would love to continue to play golf while I get my education. I am starting my Junior year of golf as the team captain (3rd year). I am really looking forward to this season, as we have a young team and I like being able to help them as a leader. I have learned a lot about teamwork and being a leader through dance. I have danced for 10 years ( 9 on competition teams) and the last two year I have been a member of my High School Drill team. This year I was selected to be the Captain of the Drill team. I like being on a team and helping others in any way I can. As far as my golfing in high school, I have qualified for Regionals and State both my Freshman and Sophomore years.
