The opportunity to participate in summer tournaments when I was younger encouraged me to be the patient, humble golfer that I am today. The competitions gave me confidence in my game; it helped me learn etiquette around the course and taught me to become less shy and open up to people, which golf gave me a lot of joy because of meeting great friends and doing well in the tournaments. I believe that hard work and commitment are fundamental to success. All my devotion and passion goes toward getting recruited to play college golf because that has been my ambition for over eight years. Being self-motivated and self-accustomed is another trait that makes me unique from other recruits.
I strive not just to be a golfer at the collegiate level, but to be a person with determination, integrity, and responsibility for this incredible game. I will not only work hard on the course, but I will have an effort to accomplish excellent academics in the classroom.
My positive points in golf is being accurate with my driver and irons which I have a rare ability to hit a three iron and being very consistent with every club in my bag. The short game is my strength while I always feel comfortable on the greens because putting is what I desire the most. I devote myself to immense standards on my grades, family and college and aim to stay the genuine, kind person that I am.
