Morgan Lewis '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Morgan Lewis, I am a freshman at Seymour High School. I have been playing golf for about 8 years now. This past summer, I got to play in many different WPGA tournaments, my favorite being at Whistling Straights on the Irish course where I shot an 88. During my first year of high school golf, I got to play the number one spot on my varsity team, I won first-team all-conference, my team won regionals, and I ended up qualifying for STATE as a individual at our sectionals, making me the first ever girl from Seymour High school to make it to STATE. This past year has been a wonderful learning experience for me, I've got to see what it's like to play and work as a team as well as with a coach, I believe that I am a team player, I am always willing to help other teammates with their swing if needed. I’ve learned that I am a fast learner, I’m very well at quickly adjusting my swing so I can add corrections, I have also trained myself to have a strong mental game all while keeping good grades in school, I currently have a 3.9 GPA and I would like to graduate with a 4.0. I dream of going to a D1 school but most importantly the school needs to be an academic fit. I love to win a collegiate tournament during college career.
