Madison LaRue '25 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a Level 10 dual enrolled (high school and college) gymnast.  I wish to further compete at the highest collegiate level with the emphasis on academics.  Academics is extremely important to me as one of my goals is to become an Orthodontist and further pursue my academic career.  The past year I was an all A student with a cumulative GPA of 3.7 while becoming a 2023 Eastern Nationals Qualifier finishing in the top 10 AA for Level 9. 

Gymnastics has created a routine and drive in my life that I apply to everything in life.  This sport means more to me than most.  I love the daily grind as a leader in BVA.  This is a lifestyle that I love and encourage my teammates to challenge themselves, with positive encouragement and cheering for them. I have accomplished many 1^st place awards, but more importantly our team has been extremely successful over the years under Ms. Nanci Moore and Ms. Alexis Moore at Bay Valley.  I am extremely competitive in all aspects of life from school work, to gym workouts .  I am a gym rat, I never miss any training session spending approximately 35 hours a week in the gym while maintaining my high academic honors.  My coaches can speak to my grit, drive, and leadership at BVA and outside of BVA.  Gymnastics is part of the fiber of my life and who I am.

 I strive to be a complete teammate and student.  I take pride in sacrifice and discipline to push myself and teammate with integrity.   I thrive under pressure and it brings out my best characteristics.    I want to further be a model excelling in academics and athletics.  I spend 30 plus hours a week in the gym while maintaining high grades.
