For my college goals and aspirations, I hope to study business development and communication. I am fluent in German, so I could possibly turn my business development goal into a job I could do internationally. In that degree field, there are a hundred ways you could go, and I believe that hockey could help me along the way. I could utilize my German and business degree to play hockey in Europe, or even do business development for a hockey team here in the US, or in Europe. I also have various leadership and social skills, that would help me while joining a team, making it easier for me to bond with my team, on and off the ice. This is demonstrated by my work as the current Vice President, and next years President of my high school's German Club and assistant coaching and managing a recreational roller hockey team this Fall. As well as working on the ice with kids, I work with 2nd to 4th grade students tutoring them on subjects such as mathematics and language arts , on weekdays before school.
Academically, in my 11th and 12th grade school years, I will be partaking in my school's International Baccalaureate program. The International Baccalaureate Program (IB) is a type of class that is more challenging than AP courses that is recognized all over the world. I am looking forward to hearing for you.
