Hockey has been a very important part of my life, and throughout my journey I have learned many things about the sport and myself. I've learned how to be responsible for my own development and the development of my team. The sport has also provided experiences that I am very grateful for. I have been playing hockey for thirteen years, and for nine of those seasons I have played boys hockey at the Tier Two level. During that time, I have been on the top team every year. For my 2022-2023 season, I was the captain of the 14U CSDHL Prospects. Being the team captain taught me leadership and the importance of a positive team dynamic.
My goal for college is to play Division 1 Hockey. My top schools are University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, and Boston College. I think I am a great candidate because I am a supportive and compassionate teammate and a hard worker. I work to achieve the things that I am passionate about. In the summer of 2023, I attended the U15 National Development Girls Camp and placed in the top third of attendees according to my performance evaluation. I also attended the Minnesota North American Female Elite Showcase and was named MVP in the final game of the tournament. My academics are also very important to me. I am a very good student because I take responsibility for maintaining my grades, completing my work done, and performing to the best of my ability.
