Corwin Dickson '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi I'm Corwin. I play goalie and I do art. My hockey journey has been full of bumps and roadblocks. From the pandemic to going to a school with a team that has too many goalies, to then being forced to find a new team to play on because my former team could not field enough players, I have faced struggles to get playing time but I have managed to keep playing and keep loving the game. I try my best to keep a good attitude about life and hockey. In my junior year I did make the Varsity team at my school and that really helped me regain my love for hockey that I hadn't realized had faltered. The one thing that all my coaches have said about me is I am a hard worker and I don’t complain.

In my free time I do art, I have worked with two NHL teams and ive done art for the PHF more than once. I love doing art almost as much as I love playing goalie. I also do fife and drum, which is historical marching band. it has given me amazing opportunities  to travel internationally and expand my leadership skills. I am currently in a leadership position with my fife and drum corps and it has really helped me grow .

In school I am an honor student, taking all honors classes freshman year and all honors expect for one AP class my sophomore year. I am continuing to take fun and challenging classes with three AP classes Junior year. I am a strong student and I actively enjoy school and learning.
