Abigail Richardson '27 Recruiting Profile

The first time I stepped foot on the ice, I was 4 years old. I grew up in the hockey world from the time I was little. By the time I was 9, I knew what I wanted for my future. When I went on a tournament my team and I toured around a Division 1 College. I knew that was exactly what I wanted. I played boys hockey from the age of 7-13, I played AAA. Last year when a AAA 14U team was created I played there,I was named captain for this team. (22-23)In the upcoming season (23-24) I will be playing for North American Hockey Academy (NAHA). Growing up I played many sports on the side. I played travel lacrosse and travel soccer. I started playing more sports in middle school like volleyball, basketball and softball. I love playing sports but hockey is by far my favorite. I am a competitive person and I hate losing. After a loss I always try and see what mistakes I made or we made as a team to try and do better for next time.
