Leah Buckley '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Leah Buckley, I'm currently a sophomore playing varsity high school hockey and club hockey. My lifelong goals are to go to a four year college, major in biology and play hockey in college. Since I began skating, 11 years ago, I knew immediately hockey was my passion. My effort and intensity, along with my willingness to be coached, is an asset I believe that will guide me to the next level. I am a team player first, who takes pride in playing defense and defending my goalie. I strive in making smart decisions on the ice and am always willing to try new things. I love the game and the intensity and can see myself playing even beyond college. My work ethic is also something that makes me different because I am always putting my all in every shift and every practice. This is a little about me and my goals in hockey.
